A former coworker of mine runs a football pool every year. The idea is to pick a team that is going to lose, not against the spread, each week. You can only pick a team once during the season, so some careful planning is in order. So, after many years of doing the loser pool, I decided to enter three times this year. I’d be sure to last at least until the 6th week. Well, not so much. One entry was eliminated last week, and the final two were lost today (stupid Green Bay and Philly). So, I lost the loser pool. I guess that makes me a biggerer loser.
